Terrible photos of uni work

The project is based on fantasy in maidstone, so relevant superstitions and traditions, and local stories. These include a little ghost girl dressed in white trying to hitch a ride, and a man who was locked in a tower for 2 years and kept a live by a cat who brought him pigeons to eat. yup.

Halloween practice: dia de los muertos

Really crappy get-up, will prolly take out all the colour since the dress n jewellery is grey anyways. need a grey flower for my hair n all. I wasn't smiling especially hard, the make-up just makes me look a bit manic.

Narrative book workshop

Had a day and a half to make a 16 page book by photocopying and folding an A3 sheet. We were given an image to start a narrative from. It could be anything we like. My image is the one in the first frame (not the front cover with the rabbit head). I decided it looked like fox ears :) the story isnt clear but the drawings are alreet. The photos are of the original drawings, not the photocopies.

I'm in love with white rabbits. aaah :) brilliant creepy mask bought at Margate today. cooooooool.

Glade Festival Memories

6am in a dance tent on sunday morning (having been dancing since approx 5pm the previous day), me and a close friend look around to see that literally everyone around us was a mess. Not puking in doorways, staggering home kind of mess. Gibbering, twitching, shuffling, dribbling mess. "It's like being in a fucking zombie film," he says.

The lace detail on the top image is real lace stuck to the page. Just so's you know. Really enjoy doing partialy 3D images, or at least adding texture to them.

Decided to edit the scans a bit less; it's always cool to see the image in context (ie the edges of the book/page). The Squiddy 'tangled mess' thing got cut off in scanning :( Planning on doing a bit more to the Rabbit image.
